4 2-X-H NBC TRADE NEWS January 24, 1964 WILLIAM F. STORKE IS APPOINTED DIRECTOR, PROGRAM ADMINISTRATION, NBC -TV NETWORK FOR RELEASE MONDAY, JAN. 27 William F. Storke has been appointed Director, Program Administration, NBC Television Network, it was announced today by Mort Werner, Vice President, Programs, NBC-TV. Mr. Storke replaces Giraud Chester, who has resigned. Mr. Storke, who has been Director, Participating Program Sales, since April, 1959* joined NBC July, 1948, in the Hollywood Guest Relations Department. He became a commercial editor in the Continuity Acceptance Department in February, 1949, and was later promoted to Assistant Manager and Commercial Editor. He joined the Television Network Sales Department on the West Coast in June, 1953, and two years later was transferred to New York as a participating programs salesman. He was promoted to Administrator, Participating Program Sales, in November, 1957 . Mr. Storke was born in Rochester, N.Y., and was graduated from the University of California at Los Angeles in 1948.
