We use Optical Character Recognition (OCR) during our scanning and processing workflow to make the content of each page searchable. You can view the automatically generated text below as well as copy and paste individual pieces of text to quote in your own work.

Text recognition is never 100% accurate. Many parts of the scanned page may not be reflected in the OCR text output, including: images, page layout, certain fonts or handwriting.

In "The Rogue's Song," Lawrence Tibbett sings before a theatre curtain to an imaginary audience. Note the microphone hanging above his head. The cameras are in the rolling boolh mounted with lights. Tibbett is a prominent member of the Metropolitan Opera Company. The noiseless camera at the right of the picture below is focussed upon Blanche Sweet and John Miljan in the cabaret scene of a new night life story, "The Woman Racket." The dancing frame is designed to prevent the twoprincipalsfrom moving outside of the zone of the camera's eye. Of course, the frame doesn't show in the picture. The mike hangs just above, also out of range of the photographer. 94
