Beach, the Seaside Playground of the Stars Two representative Malibu houses are shown at the right. The two-story house at the left belongs to Tod Browning, the director. The bungalow at the right is the property of Director Bob Leonard and his wife, Gertrude Olmstead. The beach home of the IT girl is shown at the left. It is Clara Bow's bungalow, no less. It was boarded up when this picture was made because Miss Bow hadn't yet opened it for the summer season. 69
