WHITE CHRISTMAS i knew that I have already alerted you fellows to the tremendous potential in this grand Parameunt property ... I tave just seen the figures fer the firat week in the Tivoli, Hamilton ..., not far off the ROBE gross ... pretty good? Now I'm hotter than ever on this baby ... Remember ... WHITE CHRISTMAS and VISTAVYISION must ge hand in hand .o. they MUST be sold as a unit ... and you MUST adhers to the newspaper campaign designed by Jimmy Naien's department. The rest of the selling is up to you, and believe me, the results will be in direct ratio to the effort you put into it. Must be well up in the milliens. Last Saturday morning I showed this fiim te the combined staffs of our Tivoli, Century and Granada theatres in Hamiiton ... No speeches ..just a brisf introduction, then the film. Afte that, coffee and sandwiches. Mel, Don, Paul and I sirculated among eur "guests", and came up with seme very profound observations. An interesting thing is that nearly 100% of the employees were present ... even that early din the A.M. ... £ talked to many of them, ushersttes, cashiers, doormen, and even projectionists ... ail ef whom were present ... My question went something like this "Well, did any of the seenes in the picture Jook familiar?", and the answer invariably was .-. "Did they ever ... Golly, is that what I ook like to cur customers?" .,. There you have it fellows. As aluays, any person can admit and correct a mistake, providing they know they're making ome .., But, Af they don't know, what is there 40 sorrect? Some of them got quite a chuckle out of the seene in which the manager appears ... Perhaps it struck a familiar ehord. Reports from our managers siness the showing indicate that the film made quite an imprassiem, and the feeling is that it will be much easier discussing serviee problems with the staff, now hat they have been shown, by example, the proper way of doing things. After all, that is essentially the idea ef the whole thing, isn’t it? I have the flim, fellows ... a projector and ail the necessary paraphernalia ... Ali you have to doe to take advantage ef it is organize a meeting cf your whole staff ... teil me when, and Y°11 be on deck. This i2 one Public Relations job we ¢an deo fer ourselves and tha peaple we work with every day. Law's take every advantage of it ... COURTESY. IS CONTAGIOUS
