Several iecal building supply houses grouped together to take a three quarter page co-op, with excellent tie-in heading and good art and theatre copy. Displays in the Town and Country rostaurant, St. Regis Hotel, Bus terminal and the local taxi stand. That!s all? Whassamatter Bob ... getting tired? Oh oh, @ giant package postmarked Nerth Bay has just landed on my desk, and sure snough it’s a terrific scrapbook ... the contents of which will be divulged in cur next issue. Alls forgiven, Robert, until the next time you slip a little ... Brothererer ... what I don't have to do to keep you in the chips .o. ROYAL = GUELPH Ted whangled a 240 line spread right in the middle of a "Shop Early" page in the Mercury, and used it to plug hie current attraction ATHENA ... Two street signs were strategically spotted to plug the sale of Booka of F.P. Tickets. & two column scenes on ROOGIES BUMP on an eoff-theatre page in the Mere. Ted's EF SAW deal ... the original ... still deing nicely, thanks, every day =< every week. SENECA © NIAGARA FALLS One of the local bands travelied around town playing carels on the Thursday before Christmas, and Jack prevailed en them to stop off and give out in front ef the Seneca ... Surprising how many passers-by paused to enjoy the earols. Guess a few found their way to the boxoffice. REGENT © OSHAWA Sure and Al%g IE SAW feature in the Times-Gazette is as popular as ever .o.o With an occasional seene or diaplay plug paid fer by the paper. They really like it in Oshawa. Another of the excellent co-ops run by Collette Beauty Salon appeared this week, featuring Deborah Kerr in DREAM WIFE. A4 good three columm acene on an eff-theatre page as advance for WHITE CHRISTHAS. Displays again placed at the lunch counter of the Motropeiitan store and in the Genosha Hetel. ; AL won't be doing any BALLYHOO for a while ... but I'll bet bis influence will help Charlie Perric cavry on in oa harde toebeat Hartshorn tradition ... which moans points, and prises.
