By our wonderful new discovery, which we have patented, we are now able to produce Pictures for the Magic Lantern which do not require to be transferred on to glass. We print the pictures by our patent process on to perfectly transparent, specially prepared paper, which after being sookcd in various chemical solutions, form perfect, beautiful pictures for the Magic Lantern. Each shcet contains 12 pictures, and all that is necessary is to cut the pictures up and_ place each picture between two pieces of plain glass, and bind the edges of the glasses together. The great advantage is that supposing you drop the slide, you merely break the glass, and do not hurt the picture at all. The pictures have been subjected to mest severe tests in the Magic Lantern, and have come out on the screen perfectly transparent, and far superior to any other process ever attempted. All pictures arc 3} inches diameter, aud arc suitable for full-size Lanterns. This patent is of immense advantage to persons abroad, where not only is tne custom duty on Lantern Slides something cnormous, but also the cost of freight very high. Now they can have these sheets sent out as scrap picturcs by book post, and mount them themselves without the slightest trouble.
