Tue National Sunday League are holding a serics of instructing and amusing lectures throughout London on Sunday evenings. On the 15th ult., Mr. T. C. Hepworth gave a lecture, at Middelton Hall, N., on “ Marvels of Modern Photography,” with lantern illustrations. THE recent gas-bag explosion at Ilkeston is, without doubt, the greatest calamity that has occurred in connection with the use of the lantern.
