RAY ‘‘ FOCUS" TUBE, 25s.
There has been great difficulty in obtaining suitable Vacuuin Tubes for producing the ‘Rontgen X Rays for photographic purposes, chiefly because the best corditions were not known. A long series of carefal experiments has been made, to ascertain the conditions of success, at King’s College, London, which has resulted in a tube of different shape, size, and degree of vacuum to those previously employed.
One iinportant result of this is that far less current can be employed, and that a simp’e battery and coil may be used without Tesla apparatus.
