The lantern, which is fitted with the Pamphengos oil lamp, projects the photographs on a proscenium at the far end; the openings at the sides being so arranged that a clear view is seen from each, so that 10 adults and 10 children can view the pictures at one time. The length of the outfit is 9 feet, and the screen at the far end The apparatus is put together with bolts, so that it can, for packing purposes, be taken apart readily. The film as it passes in front of the condenser falls into the long boxlike receptacle, from {which it can easily be removed for rewinding.
