And a long, warm letter from Tyrone himself, still in Italy’s capital and not missing Hollywood in the least. He writes, “Rome at this time of year is a dream. I cannot tell you what it is like in the early mornings. What a wonderful snap in the air as you ride to work, the Villa Borghese, with the lovely green trees and the fountains that never stop. Everything is so alive and exciting and it’s a thrill just to be a part of it.” From the tone of his letter and several personal asides, we’d say Tyrone may not be back in Hollywood for some time.
