106 THE TWENTIES Mary Miles Mintcr's stage performance in The Littlest Rebel established her as a famous child star. While still under twenty, she signed a contract with Realart to make twenty pictures in three years, for something over a million dollars. She appears above in a Realart film of 1920, Jenny Be Good. Since Gloria Swanson had starred in Don't Change Your Husband, produced by Zukor in 1919, it was inevitable that she should also star in Wliy Cliange Your Wife?, directed by DeMille for Famous PlayersLasky in 1920. With her in this shot is Bebe Daniels (left), promoted from Harold Lloyd comedies.
