Here she is, with Nigel Barrie (you saw him with Clara Kimball Young in The Better Wife), in a 1920 production, The Notorious Miss Lisle. BELOW Elsie Janis began entertaining at an early age and became famous as a mimic and singing and dancing stage star. Her entertainment tours of France during the First World War won her the title of "The Sweetheart of the AEF." Here she is, with Owen Moore, in a picture made in 1920.
