This time the Barrie whimsicality didn't stand up under the solid realism of Hollywood. BELOW One of the auspicious screen debuts of 1926 was that of Eddie Cantor. He went to Hollywood that year to make the film version of his successful stage musical, Kid Boots. The girl with him is Clara Bow.
