Warren Kerrigan, Crane Wilbur, Carlyle Blackwell, Maurice Costello, Arthur Johnson and King Baggot. Other Essanay players in the limelight were Beverly Bayne, Bushman's leading lady, Ruth Stonehouse, Richard Travers, and Wallace Beery who was comical in a "Sweedie" comedy series. His wife at that time was a young extra named Gloria Swanson. Constance Talmadge joined Vitagraph as a bit player. Clara Kimball Young and Earle Williams, both Vitagraph stars, won a popularity contest conducted by the Motion Tictare Magazine. Miss Young, whose fame and box office appeal were mounting, made a big hit in "My Official Wife."
