A costume comedy rather Teutonic in its humour, though made in Austria, starring Liane Haid. Cinderella story, unusual because it is set in medieval times. Fair entertainment. Just Off Broadway (Fox; July 3). John Gilbert in a crook melodrama in which, the detective-hero masquerades as a counterfeiter. Marion Nixon opposite, also Trilby Clark, Pierre Gendron and Ben Hendricks, Junr., Vera Lavella, and Theodore Von Eltz. Conventional but convincing. The Knock on the Door (Wardour; July 7).
