Jonathan Blake (Freddie Bartholomew), whose aunt keeps an ale-house in a little Norfolk sea- coast village, with his friend Horatio Nelson (Douglas Scott). The two lads plan to go to Lloyd's of London to reveal a plot they have overheard to scuttle a ship and claim insurance on a cargo of gold which is to be safely removed to another ship.
