Shot by Lord Stacy in jealous fury, he recovers to hear from his benefactor, Mr. Angerstein (Sir Guy Standing) of Nelson's victory and death. Jonathan Blake (Freddie Bartholomew), whose aunt keeps an ale-house in a little Norfolk sea- coast village, with his friend Horatio Nelson (Douglas Scott). The two lads plan to go to Lloyd's of London to reveal a plot they have overheard to scuttle a ship and claim insurance on a cargo of gold which is to be safely removed to another ship.
