We use Optical Character Recognition (OCR) during our scanning and processing workflow to make the content of each page searchable. You can view the automatically generated text below as well as copy and paste individual pieces of text to quote in your own work.

Text recognition is never 100% accurate. Many parts of the scanned page may not be reflected in the OCR text output, including: images, page layout, certain fonts or handwriting.

RICHARD GREENE Like Valerie Hobson he, too, went to Hollywood and returned to England. He was an ambitious struggling young stage actor when he was picked for stardom and hustled off to Hollywood, where he appeared in such films as “ Kentucky,'' “ Little Old New York,’’ and “ I Was An Adventuress." When war broke out he left fame and fortune to come back and join the Army. Special leave granted him enabled us to see him in the British made “ Unpublished Story " and “ Flying Fortress."
