PAULINE TENNANT is the daughter of Hermione Baddeley, and has followed in her mother’s footsteps. She is well-known on the stage, and in the film The Queen of Spades she was given the role of the young Russian Countess. Incidentally, Dame Ekiith Evans played the p>art of the Countess in later life. MICHAEL KIRBY, former Canadian skating champion, was appearing in an ice show when he was seen by a film talent scout. After a test he was given a long-term contract. His first big screen role was as Mickey Rooney’s brother in Summer Holiday. YOLANDE DONLAN, American actress, who has been seen on the London stage in “ Bom Yesterday " and “ Cage Me a Peacock," played minor roles in Hollywood fiJms, and when, despairing of ever sxss having a real chance, she turned to the stage, she was an Lmme- I diate success. , , . . _ She makes her British screen debut in Travellers' Joy, playing the part of Lil Fowler.
