He married Betty Hicks in 1945 in Beverly Hills, and is now the proud father of two daughters, Colleen and Elissa, bora in 1948 and 1950, and a son bom in 1952. Hermione Gingold made her first film in 1936 —Someone at the Door,' and recently aroused our laughter in The Pickwick Papers and Cosh Boy.
