iL Richard Crenna Jacqueline Duval CLAUDE F \ R E L L, glamorous Austrian-French star, came from Paris to appear in her first British picture, The Woman's Angle, in which she co-starred with Edward Underdown, Cathy O’Donneil and Lois Maxwell. AILEEN STANLEY Jr. is a niece of Aileen Stanley, famous musical comedy star. She was born on March 23rd, 1930, in Fort Thomas, Ken- tucky. Her mother wanted her "to become a commercial artist but she always hoped to follow in the footsteps of her famous aunt. Night club singing, musical comedy, tele- vision, came before she made her screen debut in About Face. She has also found time to write songs, two of which have been published. She is a blonde with blue eyes and is 5 feet 5 inches tall. HUMPHREY LESTOCQ, who became famous on the air as “ Flying Officer Kite,” Claude Farell entered the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art when he left school. After about a year’s stage experience, war broke out and he joined the army but within a year transferred to the R.A.F., eventually becoming a fighter pilot. After "the war he became a radio comedian, had more stage experience, played small film parts and then had the important role of Fit.-Lieut. "Batchy” Salter in Angels One Five. This was followed by Come Back Peter. He has also gained success on television in the children's series, " Whirligig." JACQUELINE DUVAL is the daughter of the late Paulette Duval, a well- known French stage and screen actress. She was born on July 7th, 1931, in Paris. Her parents hoped that she would become a doctor but Jacqueline chose to follow her mother’s career. She went to Hollywood as she wanted to try her luck on the screen, and M.-G.-M. gave her a contract but at the end of two years, when they had been unable to find roles of a " French " nature for her, she secured her release and we first saw this pretty young actress in the Universal-International film Red Ball Express. She has light brown hair, hazel eyes and is 5 feet 3J inches in height. Among the things that Jacqueline likes are classical music and serious literature. She says that her hobby is to learn " to speak English without the trace of an accent.” RICHARD CRENNA was a radio star before coming to films, in fact, he had been on the air since childhood. We have seen him on the screen in Red Skies of Montana, The Pride of St. Louis and It Grows on Trees, in which he had his first romantic film role opposite Joan Evans.
