©1965 American International Pictures AMERICAN INTERNATIONAL’S ae "SHER treet SYNOPSIS (Not for Publication) With Frankie (FRANKIE AVALON) away in Tahiti with his Naval Reserve unit, Dee Dee (ANNETTE FUNICELLO) and the rest of the “Beach Party Gang’ are involved in a new seriés of adventures. These are spurred by opportunistic advertising man Peachy Keane (MICKEY ROONEY), a goodlooking male newcomer named Ricky (DWAYNE HICKMAN), and a mysterious and beautiful girl named Cassandra (BEVERLY ADAMS), plus an oddly appearing and disappearing Pelican. Peachy enlists the aid of the gang to find “The Girl Next Door” for an advertising stunt, while Ricky tries to woo a wavering Dee Dee in Frankie’s absence. It then develops that Cas sandra and ico Pelican are manifestations of a Tahiti witch doctor (BUSTER KEATON). The bird helps the medicine man and Frankie keep long distance tab on Dee Dee, with Cassandra eting as a diversionary device for Ricky.
