Exotic Homicide Filmmakers seem to be finding increasingly novel ways of committing murder these days. No longer is it completely acceptable to kill with such lethal, but old-fashioned, weapons as guns, knives or bludgeons. Even strangling is passe, or so it seems in Dino de Laurentiis’ new suspense thriller, “Kiss the Girls and Make Them Die,” at the ...... Theatre in color by Technicolor. The Columbia Pictures release stars Michael Connors, Dorothy Provine, Raf Vallone, Margaret Lee, Nicoletta Machiavelli, Beverly Adams and Terry-Thomas. In “Kiss the Girls and Make Them Die,” director Henry Levin stages some of the most bizarre murders ever put on film—with the victims all beautiful girls. Beverly Adams, for example, is killed by a snake secreted inside the lining of a feather boa, a “gift” from a lover who thinks she has been two-timing him. Another victim of the same insanely jealous lover, Raf Vallone, is Nicoletta Rangoni Machiavelli, Italian newcomer to the screen. Margaret Lee, yet another of his girl friends, receives orchids —in which Vallone has planted a deadly scorpion. But, perhaps the most bizarre of all his attempts to do away with his girl friends, occurs when Vallone dumps Dorothy Provine into the nose cone of a rocket about to be sent into orbit, first step in his campaign to rule the world! Clearly, Dorothy Provine, playing a British secret agent in Rio de Janeiro, and her American counterpart, Michael Connors, need all the help they can get when they tangle with so great a villain as Raf Vallone in “Kiss the Girls and Make Them Die.” Beverly Adams From her role as the cuddly kitten of a dream secretary in “The Silencers,” with Dean Martin as her boss, Beverly Adams has been transformed into a lovely Swedish doll in Rio de Janeiro, hapless protegee of murderous Raf Vallone in “Kiss the Girls and Make Them Die,” Dino de Laurentiis’ production for Columbia Pictures release at CHES. oes Theatre in color by Technicolor, The spy adventurecomedy also stars Michael Connors, Dorothy Provine, Raf Vallone, Margaret Lee, Nicoletta Machiavelli and Terry-Thomas. A gorgeous, green-eyed brunette whose hobby is hypnotism, Beverly already has cast a spell over critics and the movie public alike. Prior to “Kiss the Girls and Make Them Die,” she was the romantic lead opposite Soupy Sales in “Birds Do It.” If Beverly’s beautiful face and figure ring a familiar bell with movie audiences it is because she is a former magazine cover girl who has appeared on many national television shows. An only child, she was born in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, but was raised and educated in the U. S. After living in Illinois, the family settled in Burbank, Calif. One day, while serving as a hostess at a teenage fair, she was noticed by a talent agent.
