STORY
(Not for Publication)
Capt. Satire Slocum (John Hodiak), who flies one of the Army’s tiny Cub observation planes, is ordered to Korea after a one-day visit with his wife Nancy (Maureen O’Sullivan) and their two children. With him is Lt. Pete Barker (John Derek), who would far ratber fight than drop supplies to the infantry, pick up wounded men or act as artillery observer. Slocum is fatally wounded trying to help Barker out of trouble; Barker himself is wounded in a later action but gets back safely to Taejon where Army nurse Kate (Audrey Totter) is waiting for him. (Running Time: 86 Minutes)
