(Not for Publication) A factual account of two inter-related undersea experiments, ''Jacques-Yves Cousteau's World Without Sun" shows human beings living and working beneath the sea. The film is an in-color record of both the exploration, by newly-invented two-man submarine, of the unknown reefs and channels beneath the Red Sea and Indian Ocean, and the establishment of an underwater community by oceanauts from Cousteau's complex oceanographic research vessel, the Calypso. This latter month-long experiment involved specially-built underwater homes which provided the oceanauts with many of the ordinary comforts of life on land, and which they used as a base for additional below-surface ocean Running Time: 91 minutes
exploration and research.
