The winner would be dressed in very brief ‘‘mini-coveralls’’ with a ‘‘Miss Speedway”’ sash, and might profitably (in the car) visit teen hangouts such as drive-in root beer and hamburger stands. ‘‘Miss Speedway”’ would, of course, appear at the theatre for the opening of the picture, with the car in the lobby.
