Be on the lookout for other recordings of many other songs set for early release. Check with your music distributor.

Dress your ushers, or usherettes, in rural costumes, suggestive of square dancing. They can be used, when not on duty in the theatre, for staging square dances on street corners and in busy sections of town.
Arrange for dance exhibitions between half activities at football games, basketball games or other school, high school or college athletic functions which require time out periods.
If ‘Man in the Street’ radio programs are available, suggest they use such lead questions as WHY ARE THEY SQUARE DANCING? WHAT ARE YOUR FAVORITE SQUARE DANCE TUNES? WHO IS YOUR FAVORITE SQUARE DANCE CALLER?
Tie-in with coffee and doughnut shops, ice cream parlors and other refreshment places who cater to the Square Dance followers.
Write your square dance groups and other dance organizations and
announce the coming of the film
Square dance enthusiasts are formed from every walk of life, young folks and old folks, there is universal appeal and any attention media should prove effective announcements to the picture.
Hold a dance jubilee under the auspices of a charity drive or benefit. This should receive support from all top organizations and civic groups and result in fine publicity for the picture.
NEWSPAPER FEATURES
Try to interest local newspapers to run a daily series
of features on square dancing with the possibility of illustrating the explanations. In consideration of the tre
mendous interest that has developed in square dancing all
over the country, this should prove to be a popular feature.
Tie-up with your local soft drink beverage company.
These companies are greatly interested in square dance
activities and are easily approached on special advertising
tie-in campaigns.
Several clothing manufacturers are now placing square dance apparel on the market, such as blouses, skirts, scarfs, pants, etc. Arrange with your local clothing stores to display such items with theatre and picture credits. Or they
might have special displays of apparel appropriate for square dancing.
Throughout the country, high schools and colleges are
active spots with student groups staging informal proms, stunt parties, dances, get-togethers. The wise exhibitor should interest student clubs, fraternities, sororities, etc.,
to build their parties around a square dance theme. King and Queen can be chosen for, or at such a gathering. Local newspaper can be approached to cover the affair and perhaps give it a pictorial spread. These pictures can be featured as a lobby display.
