@ Arrange with department stores, hat dealers and bridle shops to make up displays featuring western clothing. Provide these outlets with accessories to flash up their displays, making sure plugs are given to the arrival and playdate of “Town Tamer.”
@ Contact your local newspaper to co-sponsor a “Town Tamer” write-in contest. Young readers should be invited to write in twenty-five (25) words or less, what the real meaning of a Town Tamer is. Free passes and other prizes that you can promote should be given to the contestants that win.
@ Place posters in train stations, bus depots, airports and other places where people congregate, which say: STOP WHAT YOU’RE DOING AND CATCH THE MOST EXCITING FILM IN TOWN. SEE “TOWN TAMER,” AN ACTION-PACKED WESTERN WHICH OPENS AT THE THEATRE.
@ Hire a few men and have them dress in western outfits. Direct them to walk through the main streets of your town with signs on their backs which plug and credit the film as well as your theatre and playdate.
