C. public relations firm. He discovers that some peculiar things have happened since he went away. First, one of his partners died under circumstances, leaving the organization run by Jim McGinnis (Dick Foran). Suspicious Secondly, some of their big accounts have left, only to be replaced by mysterious or nefarious organizations. And again, Jim is always trying to brush off Eaton whenever he gets too curious. Eaton, using the help of Lorraine (Marilee Earle) secretaryreceptionist, decides to investigate the partner's death and find out just what's going on, and why he is being kept in the back ground of the firm's business. His discoveries uncover a vast behalf of a nationwide network of phony front groups manufacturing fear to sell conspiracy in their peace-at-any-price program to the public, After a hand-to-hand struggle with McGinnis, Eaton hands him over to the police, and agrees to testify before a Senate Investi gating Committee. Dana Andrews was selected to play the part of a returning Korean war veteran who wants to £0 back to his place as a partner in a public relations firm in Washington, D.C., only to discover some peculiar things had happened in his absence. For one thing, one of his partners had died mysteriously and Andrews suspects murder. For another, some of the firm’s best accounts have been lost, and some rather nefarious ones taken their place. Also, the remaining partner, played by Dick Foran, is very anxious to keep Andrews in the background of the firm’s activities. When Andrews together with his girl friend, played by Marilee Earle, set out to discover what’s behind it all, they come upon a fantastic scheme to terrorize the people of the United States by softening them up for foreign propaganda.
