SPORTS CLOTHES AND NIGHT ATTIRE WORN BY FEMININE STARS IN "FLUFFY" PROVIDE STRONG APPEAL TO WOMEN
For a vacation of winter sun and sparkling snow, Shirley Jones plans a wardrobe around her quilted ski jacket with its 1 ers all-over pattern of crimson on ““Fluffy,’”’ is ready to go fishing, blue. Her stretch pants are
Summertime means golf, and balmy weather demands a sleeveless blouse teamed with a solid-color skirt. Shirley Jones favors olive and white. Her skirt boasts patch pockets, and she

SPOTLIGHT ON SPORTS CLOTHES
Shirley Jones Is An Ideal Model
Being attractively dressed for active sports is more than half the fun says Shirley Jones, starring in Universal’s ‘‘Fluffy’’ with Tony Randall. Being a radiantly healthy outdoors type of girl, Shirley loves fishing, skiing and golf. She admits that knowing she looks her best when indulging in her favorite sports, makes a good time seem even better.
‘Even shopping for vacation clothes is lots of fun,’’ Shirley said. ‘“‘As you look over the new styles and picture yourself wearing them in the future you feel as if your holiday had already started.”’
Though Shirley delights in bright colors to complement her vivid coloring, she knows that it is important to select clothes that are suitable for each sport and insists that they be in good taste.
“You don’t think about looking feminine and frilly when you are on a fishing trip with your favorite man,”’ she cautioned. ‘‘That’s the time to impress him with your independence. If you are going to bait your own hook and clean your own catch, your clothes should consist of jacket and pants with a plaid shirt and a perky hat to keep the sun out of your eyes. A slim figure in sturdy boots looks a lot better on this occasion than one in a flouncy skirt and sandals.”
For a skiing trip, Shirley recently purchased a new padded jacket in a colorful print design. She chose red mittens and a hat-and-scarf combination in red, too. ‘“‘That’s an excellent color to wear if you think there’s any chance of getting lost, or buried in a snowdrift,’’ she laughed.
For golf, which is perhaps the most popular sport with the vacation-minded girl, Shirley likes a carefree look. In California, golfers dress very informal, and Shirley likes the freedom of a sleeveless shirt in an all-over print, teamed with a muted-color skirt. A peaked cap in the same tone shades of her eyes, and, of course, she wears the correct shoes and cuffed socks.
‘‘When you plan on visiting another city or resort for your vacation fun, I’ve found it is best to check ahead and find out what the other girls are likely to wear, so that you won’t be out of step.”
‘‘After you’ve collected your wardrobe for the fun days ahead, you can look forward to your vacation with happy anticipation. Who knows what adventure or new romance may come into your life when you are looking your best and all set to meet it?’”’ adds Shirley.
MATCH YOUR NIGHTGOWNS TO YOUR SHEETS AND PILLOWS
Celia Kaye Collects Pretty Bedroom Wear Few girls think about matching their nightgowns to their sheets and pillow cases, but Celia Kaye, seen in Universal’s “Fluffy,” with
Tony Randall and Shirley Jones, is noted for her artistic taste and color sense.
black wool, and her red hat and scarf are knitted all in one piece. Red mittens add to the bright picture.

“| don’t think | could sleep in a red gown and blue and wh'te striped sheets,” she confided with a smile. ‘‘As a matter of fact, | usually pick out my colors for sheets and nightgowns at the same time so that | will feel a harmony in my room. | like patterns in my bed clothes, like floral sprays and solid-color borders and then | wear nightgowns in matching colors. For instance, with candy-striped pink-and-white sheets, | like pink or white gowns, but if | have lavendar flowers on my sheets, that night | will wear my favorite lavendar chiffon gown.”
Celia Kaye looks as perky and fresh as a daisy in her white batiste gown .panelled with lace embroidery. It has a flattering empire waistline and narrow straps tied with tiny bows. She wears a flat white bow in her dark hair in Universal’s ‘‘Fluffy,’’ a comedy starring Tony Randall and Shirley Jones.

In her new film, playing the part of a newlywed, Celia wears a delightfully fresh and pretty white gown featuring panels of sheer, embroidered lace. It has an empire waist and tiny bows below the shoulder straps. With it, Celia wears a flat white bow in her raven-dark hair. White, of course, goes with every color in sheets; so Celia has quite a number of white gowns in her collection.
The young actress says that she matches her hair ribbons to her color scheme, and when she must occasionally sleep with rollers in her hair, she tops the ensemble with frilly nylon curler caps to match her gowns.
Celia admits that she loves shopping for nightgowns and adds to her collection with a nightgown as a memento for every film she makes. Her ‘Fluffy’ gown is a copy of the attractive model she wears in the comedy.
FIND THE AMAZING “FLUFFY” IN THE MAZE!
Here's an extra touch of exploitation help — the mystic maze — where contestants go into action with their pencil and prowess to find an unobstructed path to the end of the maze — where they'll find "FLUFFY." That's the same situation and predicament that the police and Plant Guards encounter in the comedy when they go through the hilarious lionhunting scenes that take place in the labyrinth of walls in Tony Randall's experimental laboratory as they try to capture ''FLUFFY."

Just in case there happens to be someone in your city who owns a pet lion — which can be handled on a leash without any city ordinance violations — you might be able to get them to walk their animal over to your theatre to see ‘‘Fluffy’’ perform on the screen.
It surely would create interest, especially in the papers, for your theatre and the picture!
