_ Having already won the admiration of myriads of movie-goers, Loretta Young, star of the First National feature, “Big Business Girl,” coming to the Strand next Friday has just been officially awarded the title of “The Jantzen Girl.”
The contest, in which ten thousand or more Jantzen dealers voted, had aroused the interest of a large public outside of the actual participants. Though the final outcome seemed dubious at first, the contest closed with the distinction going to Loretta Young by an overwhelming majority. Her closest competitor was Dorothy Mackaill, who is incidentally, another First National star. The Jantzen Knitting Mills, famed manufacturers of swimming and_beach..togs, agree uivucis ‘LU De named for the winner and runnerup. These models will be featured in a gigantic national advertising campaign involving thousands upon thousands of dollars. Space has been bought for newspaper, magazine and billboard advertising in which the stars will be illustrated wearing the suits named for them.
