STILLS AS LOBBY TEASER
Maybe you can tease ’em in the lobby with a screen containing small peep-hole. Sign says “See what went on behind the scenes during the construction of Boulder Dam.” Through peep-hole patrons can see stills and copy from picture as well as shots which newspaper oughta be able to loan you of actual dam construction.
TIE-UP FOR TOY STORE
Store can tie up with its toy department. Steam shovels, cranes, trucks, etc. are pointed out as replicas of those used in construction of Boulder Dam. Possibly store will also allow you to set up still display for the kids.
THE MAGAZINES
Are devoting full page announcements in the March, April and May issues and giving out thousands of newsstand streamers. They’re also offering Knitting Books to department stores and sending ‘em posters for window use, as well as supplying them with combination folders and entry blanks.
BERNHARD ULLMAN & CoO.
Has released a pressbook with proofs and ad mats for department store use and is releasing publicity stories and stills through its own channels. In addition, it is sponsoring style shows and other promotional stunts, as well as giving stores material for window and counter displays. AND, it’s sending out 60 stylists and 60 salesmen just to promote the contest in department stores.

DAM WORKER GIVES TALK
Visitor or worker on Boulder Dam oughta be able to give interesting talk on experiences there. So if anyone in town has been there, we’d advise your contacting him.
‘If he doesn’t want to talk, invite him to
opening—then interview him in hopes of publicity breaks. Same angle can be worked by inviting well-known engineer to give the talk and interview.
FILM'S THRILLS ON MAP
To ‘rouse interest in lobby, why not a map of Boulder Dam? Numbered pins indicate where thrilling incidents of picture take place. Corresponding numbers underneath map explain what’s happened.
CARDBOARD DAM
For lobby piece, artist can make up miniature dam out of cardboard. Credits, of course, appear on wall of dam, and if it’s large enough you can paste up a few stills, too.
CONTACT THE ENGINEERS
Engineering school would probably be interested in the many shots showing actual work on Boulder Dam. No harm in sending 'em a letter telling about film, is there?
