Second, give ’em to your radio station so that the gent who gives the setting-up calisthenics in the early a.m. can use them with similar credit to Busby Berkeley and his ‘*‘ Dames”’ chorus girls. Make sure he mentions your theater and dates, too. Here are the exercises: 1. To reduce the hips—tlie flat on the floor, arms at side. Now roll over, crossing right leg over left and touching as far out on the left side as possible. leg. Try 10 times. Now repeat in reverse with left 2. To reduce the abdomen—lie flat on your back on floor, arms stretched over head. Keeping feet flat on floor, reach down and touch toes. Do this 10 times. 3. To reduce fat on neck—stand with legs spread apart, hands on hips. to front. 20 times on this one. Now roll head in circle, from left to back, to right, Stretch as far as pessiblp. Then. reverse circle. 4. To reduce excess weight on sible stand with legs apart, hands stretched straight out as far as possible. Keeping them rigid, rotate in small, fast circles from the shoulder, first forward, then backwards. St 50 times each way. To strengthen back muscles—stand in same position as in exercise 4, but this time turn from the waist, first as far to the right as possible, then to the left. Repeat 10 times.
