Pictures, Inc., 321 W. 44th St., New York 18, N. Y. QUART LOBBY N.Y. STRAND LOBBY DISPLAY TURNTABLE Effective lobby turntable display is made by triangular mount atop turntable which revolves on the base as shown. One side of the set-pieces is Still No. 509 (from branch set) blown up; second side carries still display with copy; third side may carry clinch scene blow-up or copy on the rest of your attraction. Simplified version of the same display piece avoids use of turntable, and the setpieces are reduced to two-sided version illustrated here. The illuminated display shown above is from the N. Y. Strand's outer lobby. Huge block cutout letters are used for star names and title, with natural, effective shadowing resulting from the illumination. The display is mounted behind glass in the lighted frame, heightening the whole eye-stopping effect.
