GALE PAGE, the black-haired, dramatic type, concentrates on her wideset and unusually lovely eyes, points them up with mauve eye-shadow, brown mascara. FAY BAINTER, the youthful matron type, finds that moderate make-up, artfully used is the secret of keeping a young face in key with slightly graying hair. She uses light clear tones of color, “Continental” powder base and powder, “Pepper Red rouge” and lipstick and a mauve eye-shadow. Her coiffure is simple, but perfectly groomed.
