With cooperation of an orchestra or recording, announcer spiels “With music keeping time to our morning exercises, music at our meals, what should be more fitting than to give the correct time musically. Get your watches ready, and you'll be able to tell the correct time to the strains of Jimmy King’s Orches 29 Then band goes into rendition of the song and at conclusion, announcer says, “And if those watches aren’t set yet, [’ll have to break down and tell you that it’s a quarter to nine, which is the title of the song you've just heard, one of the many tunes from “Go Into Your Dance,’ etc., etc.” ‘Mammy Singers’ Contest Over cooperating radio station, or from your stage, “‘would-be impersonators” could do their conception of Jolson — singing one of the num-+ bers from the film.
