If yow’re looking for an animated lobby or front display you’ll get a “kick” out of the six ty) : sheet. Figures of Dick Smee et
Powell and Olivia de Havilland are 3 feet high when cut out and mounted. Olivia’s feet are made to kick up and down by means of a belt attached to cog wheel (A) which in turn causes wheel (B) to move in the opposite direction. (See 6-sheet on back cover ).
Let’s Play ‘Hard To Get’
Date Bureau
Date Bureaus have proven popular in various sections of the country, especially in college towns. Set up in your lobby week before picture opens. Copy: “Hard To Get A Date? Try Our Service.” Boys and girls fill out cards giving their addresses, ages, hobbies, etc., and deposit in separate boxes. Cards in girls’ box are mailed to addresses on boys’ cards and appointments are made. Appropriate copy at bottom of each card tips off boys to take their dates to see “Hard To Get.”
‘Disguise’ Stills
Dick Powell wears half a dozen disguises in the film. Display of stills showing him in these various roles would make an interesting exhibit to spot in your lobby. Stills show Powell as gas station attendant, window cleaner, messenger boy, riveter, scrub “woman,” and colored singer. Order special set of “Dick Powell Disguise Stills.” Set of six — 90c from Campaign Plan Editor.

Take advantage of his popularity by means of displays in lobby, letters to old-timers, ete.
Interviews
Reporter interviews men passers-by with this: “Olivia de Havilland wants to know whether a girl should take the initiative in showing her fondness for a man, or whether she should play ‘hard to get.? What do you think ?”’
