radio tie-up stunt can be worked from your lobby with a public address system. Let interviewer ask
patrons and passersby informal questions in regard to relations of a secretary to her boss, requesting their personal opinions. Let him prepare his questions in advance to get the “‘yes”’ and “‘no”’ replies, keeping a score board in front of the theatre. If you can this would make an excellent plug

MEMO GIVEAWAYS
Interest-arousing giveaway would be regular office memorandum paper on which is written in shorthand a little love note from the secretary to her boss. Translation for shorthand-ignorant on inside. Cover the office buildings on this one where interest will be keenest. Might get store selling office stationery to slip memo slips in notebooks, packages; etc.

PLORE. TIE .UPS
This picture offers excellent opportunity to tie-up with stores that sell typewriters and office equipment. It makes a natural, hitting directly at the group who should be certain ticket buyers. You should find it easy to arrange a window display, offering stills. This type of store doesn’t usually make for tie-ups. When they’re called on, they’re usually most cooperative. (You might get them to insert a herald in packages leaving the store.)
Newspapers might be willing to co-operate in this, which should bring many letters from office workers. You can place a box in your lobby and invite contestants to drop in their contributions. Display a blow-up of drawing showing what majority think of qualifications of perfect boss. Prizes of course, for best letters. Along same lines, it would be wise to solicit replies from employers telling what they would like their secretaries to be.
CANDID CAMERA
If your camera-man can invade a few (or many) offices and take snapshots of secretaries at work at their desks, you have the foundation of a tried and true interest arouser. Display the stills in lobby with suitable comments and of course offer ducats to all whose pictures are thus shown. Good idea to gag picture up a bit, showing girls paying more attention to their make-up than to their dictation.
