This romantic melodrama of old New Orleans comes to the Strand Theatre next Friday and this is the first of a four-day strip giving a few highlights of the picture by means of scenes from it. The exciting scenes are laid in New Orleans at the height of the Mardi Gras festivities and at a plantation home farther down the river. “Jezebel” is a picturization of the Broadway stage hit by Owen Davis, Sr. The star is Bette Davis and the large supporting cast is headed by Henry Fonda, George Brent, Margaret Lindsay, Donald Crisp, Fay Bainter and John Litel.
