Tie-in Sybil Jason With Safety Campaign
If you can do something about starting a safety campaign in town, there’s a chance to garner a bit of publicity for your star at the same time. The New York police department is now running a safety campaign and has the streets plastered with posters advising motorists to watch out for children, to turn corners carefully, ete. All these are done in an interesting and dramatic manner. If you see the mayor and the police chief, they might be willing to try a campaign on the same lines, working photos of Sybil into each one. For instance, a pretty head of the child playing with a dog, with line, “How much do you love your child?” Copy follows to tell drivers to avoid speeding and resulting accidents, ete. Of
course, Sybil and show come in for plugs.
