marriage. Horatio, still feeling fine, gives his consent, and the two are married. As the preacher announces the final words, Ramp and the police rush in and arrest Horatio. They search him and find the bonds in his pocket. He is being led to jail as Mrs. Gillingwater and Alice return home, after he is gone she begins to regret the way she has henpecked him.
Later Mugsy O’Banion sneaks into the Gillingwater home and demands the bonds.
He is recognized by Mrs. Gillingwater as Horace McCauley, an o!d flame of her girlhood, whom she had never since seen, but whom she had everlastingly held up to her husband as the personification of everything that was wonderful.
Jerry and Lois capture O’Banion. He is jailed and put into the same cell with Horatio, who again becomes the lion and beats him up for making a disparaging remark about his wife.
In the meantime, Jake has remembered seeing a man put the papers into Horatio’s pocket at the lodge meeting. He informs Jerry, who tells Ramp that Horatio will sue him for false arrest unless he is released and made a partner in the firm.
Ramp, frightened, yields and Horatio, at Jerry’s suggestion, returns home and comp’etely subdues his nagging wife. Lois and Jerry go on their honeymoon leaving Horatio master of his home.
