LOCAL ARTIST IN LOBBY
Want a good lobby gag? A lovely oil painting of Dolores Del Rio was done by beautiful Ethelreda Leopold, one of the players in the picture. This is now available to you as a 28 x 42 tinted photo. Set this on an easel in your lobby.
Have local artist copy it as illustrated above. Similar stunt was pulled recently at the Kings Theatre in Brooklyn, N. Y., and it proved to be a real lobby draw. In the event that you can’t pull the stunt, the blowup of the painting makes an attractive lobby decoration in itself, with interest added by explanatory card telling of the artist and circumstances. In full colors, the painting is $3.50. In black and white $2.25.
