Joe Davis (Warren Douglas) a young sailor and his bride of one day Gloria (Joan Winfield) are held as suspects, along with Gordon Shane (Don Costello), a professional knife-thrower and former naval officer. Shane is placed in the custody of First Officer Barnes (Bill Kennedy). Barnes unexpectedly offers to let Shane escape, thus arousing the suspicions of Gloria. Directly aceusing him of the crime she is about to call for help when Barnes attempts to throw her into the sea. Shane breaks in just in time to kill Barnes with a thrown bayonet.
