The suspicions of the local police, were in this case, somewhat justified, for the cargo aboard the trucks con-sisted of doubtful-looking cases and kegs, many of which bore the familiar labels of “Haig & Haig,” “Johnny Walker,” “Pommery & Greno” and other brands.
Though the cases and kegs were real enough, their contents were merely lemon pop and dry beer, which was on its way to the thirsty cast and company engaged in the filming of “Oh Sailor Behave!” the special: all-talking and singing Vitaphone production now showing at the

Noah Beery plays the part of a Roumanian general in “Oh Sailor Behave!” Warner Brothers latest alltalking, singing, Neapolitan comedy now showing at the Theatre.
This type of role is new to Beery, but the dean of all villains gives a performance which proves him to be more than equal to the task.
Beery, whose theatrical career embraces innumerable theatrical and fil” \ductions, was born in Kansas € efore coming to Hollywood he felled with road shows, circuses and toured in vaudeville.
Few screen players receive a larger salary or are in such constant demand as Beery. Perhaps he is best remembered for his performances in “Noah’s Ark,” “Under a Texas Moon” and “Golden Dawn.”
Though Noah Beery lives in Hollywood he spends much of his time between pictures at his famous mountain resort, “Noah Beery Paradise Club.”
Olsen and Johnson head the all star cast of “Oh Sailor Behave!”, which includes Irene Delroy, Charles King, Lowell Sherman, Lotti Loder, Vivien Oakland, Charles Judels and Lawrence Grant.
Archie Mayo wielded the megaphone in this production.
