Who Solve Mystery
A three-piece map is in the possession of Philo Vance who is attempting to solve the most amazing case in his career. Today this newspaper prints the first section of the map and invites readers to aid in detecting the suspect. Two other sections appear on subsequent days. After you have correctly placed the three sections together, outline the image suspected and send it to the contest editor with a letter of not more than 50 words telling how, in your opinion, the crime was committed. The ten correct solutions and best letters will each be rewarded with two guest tickets to see Warren William in S. S. Trick Inventions
Warren William hands one to the folks who like to work out tricky things. His latest “Goldbergian” gadget is an all-purpose clothes hanger for a complete wardrobe — even to gloves.
How about getting the localites to send in their inventions for every day use. Contestants send in descriptions, photos or sketches of their contraptions, which above all must be practical—that should be the deciding factor in picking the winner.
Maybe your lobby is spacious enough for an exhibit, which would make an interesting lobby attraction and get picture breaks in the papers.
