Chandra entices her to become his seeretary, falls in love with her and finally marries her. She quickly learns he is a fraud, but believes him when he explains that the fraud is only in his ballyhoo, and that he is really doing a great good in advising people in trouble. Sylvia is disillusioned when a girl whom Chandra’s advice had ruined commits suicide at their hotel. She threatens to leave him, but Chandra offers to give up the racket and she sticks. Chandra tries to make an honest living but fails. He runs across Frank, who has become a chauffeur for a wealthy man.
