There the boys meet Putty Nose, whom they have not seen for years. They follow him to his home and finish him. Shortly afterward Nails Nathan is killed by a vicious horse. The boys pay the Owner of the horse and then shoot the animal, With Nails gone, the Bugs Moran gang starts trouble. Tom visits his mother and presents her with a roll of bills, but Mike, who has been invalided home, makes him take the money back.
