Page Four “* SUGGESTED PLAN FOR FIRST 4 MEETINGS First Meeting Theatre manager, acting as chairman, explains aims of club and opens discussion of these aims. Secretary pro tem, appointed by manager, records proceedings. Nominations of officers are made. Manager writes Black Mask for newsstand posters and sufficient amount of membership cards (see page after next.) Second Meeting Manager presides as election of officers is held. Chair is turned over to newly elected chairman. He explains Black Mask contest and presides over subsequent discussion by members. Police officer is guest. Third Meeting Police officials, detectives are invited and made honorary members. One of them, chosen beforehand, relates some of his experiences. If possible, he makes members ‘deputy detectives.’ Black Mask contest discussed, Announcement made of Social or Story-telling Night for next meeting. Fourth Meeting Mystery-Story or Ghost-Story telling Night opens. Prizes are given to the best efforts. Members are permitted to bring friends to this meeting.
