STORY Jackie (Joyce Reynolds) and Joy (Janis Paige),
step-sisters, are returning from college, and are flown home by a young pilot, Steve (Don MeGuire). Their arrival is greeted with marked relief by their parents (Edward Arnold and Barbara Brown). Warren James (Robert Hutton) comes over to their house and is first attracted to Jackie, whom he asks to a country club dance. But when Joy appears, he forgets Jackie, and proceeds to ask her to the same dance. Now resigned to play second fiddle, Jackie decides to stay home and read, but her father thinks otherwise. Steve calls and wants to speak to Joy, but Jackie turns on her hidden

charms and entices Steve to the club dance. She attracts all eyes, but most of all she wants to see Warren. When the young man does see her new personality, he is entranced all over again. Jackie and Warren go swimming, but have their clothes stolen, and are forced to spend the night in jail. When the newspapers pick up the story, Jackie is the talk of the town. The parents say the two should marry at once, but Jackie thinks that Warren does not want to marry her, so she runs off to New York. When Warren comes to his senses, he rushes off to catch up with his wallflower.
