©}. In James Cagney, you have a tremendous crowdgetter. Give him plenty and be sure to emphasize the fact that he has a role entirely different from any he has played in the past. With this picture Cagney steps to the absolute top as a star attraction. Let “His HIT of HITS” be one of your slogans. $B. Feature the “Dame” angle, Cagney fans crave to see him cut-up with the cuties. Let them know there’s plenty of “you know what” to be seen. Use the pictures and names of Marian Nixon and Virginia Bruce as much as possible.

laughable character. His story has plenty of PEP. —
Use snappy plot catchlines throughout your campaign.
5. Where they like action pictures, plug hard on the three ring battles that take place during the picture. These fights have been hailed as the most realistic ever screened. Cagney trained a month for them and shows lots of “stuff”? in his work.
