The absence of disturbing gears, the solid construction of the entire apparatus, and the incorporation of a simple but effective mechanical filter preclude the possibility of the slightest vibration. The stroboscope test shows the speed fluctuation to be less than one-fourth of one percent, which is far less than the ear can detect, and certainly far less than is found in other machines. The Gearless may operate at either 33 1-3 or 78 R. P. M. The machine also possesses a specially designed starting spiral device, a high grade microscope, vacuum nozzle, and scale. The Gearless is also equipped with the most modern type of recording head, transmitting and amplifying systems. Experts to advise and instruct in the manipulation of the apparatus, if desired.
